Outdoor Maintenance Spring/Fall

Clean any dirt, leaves and debris outside the main cabinet and pad.

Inspect the base for blocked drain openings.

Inspect the fan blades while they're in motion and stationary to determine wear and damage.

Inspect condenser coil to ensure it is clean for proper air flow.

Indoor Maintenance Spring/Fall

Clean or replace filters.

Check and clean condensate drain if accessible.

Check for any unusual odors when your system starts.

Listen for abnormal noises when your system starts.

Inspect your control box wiring and connections.

Make sure blower motor and wheels are clean for proper operation and air flow.

Change humidifier pad and orifice for proper water flow.

Tasks you can do to keep your equipment running efficiently

Inspect the air filter every month and replace it as needed.
Make sure to leave doors to bedrooms open for optimal Air flow and circulation.
Keep vegetation 18 inches away from each side of the outdoor unit to maintain air flow.
Make sure Landscapers don’t mulch around the pad and bury the outdoor unit.
Tell your technician if you hear any unusual noises with the equipment.
